My dear Students, Parents and well wishers,
Greetings to all of you. I am happy to be here at St. Mary’s School as the Principal of this premier educational institution in Mirzapur. I am sure, with the cooperation of our parents, students, teachers and all the stakeholders, we can scale the new heights in moulding the young minds who are given to our care.
It gives me immense joy to pen down these few lines to you through our school website. Our website will give you each and every information about the school, very specially, in these days, the details of regular online activities. I wish that you browse through the pages of our website, at-least once in a week to get the necessary information and updates.
St. Mary’s School, Mirzapur, has a long legacy of commitment, dedication and excellent results, be it in academics, curricular and co-curricular activities, because, we, here at St. Mary’s School, strive hard to provide an environment that is basically sacred, and has a framework of discipline that is flexible yet supportive, a freedom that allows students to learn even from their mistakes, to develop into person moulded by the correlatives of freedom and responsibility. Our ever inspiring school motto “LOVE, TRUTH AND KNOWLEDGE” is our guiding star, which always helps us to aim high in life.
Today, the world has come to a standstill because of the pandemic COVID 19, because of which students are not able to come to the school, not able to conduct regular curricular and co-curricular activities, which helps the students to unearth their hidden talents. We constantly pray that God to do away this pandemic as early as possible, so that we continue our mission of moulding the young minds in the best way that is possible. Therefore, as responsible citizens of our country, let us all contribute our mite by wearing the mask, keeping the social distance and staying at home as far as possible.
At this juncture, I wish to sincerely thank Rev. Fr. Gregory D’Souza, the outgoing Principal of this school, who, with his excellent leadership qualities, has taken this school to new heights. We wish him good luck for his new responsibilities as the Principal of St. Joseph’s School, Pratapgarh, and pray to God to grant him good health of mind and body.
Seeking your whole hearted cooperation in every activity of the school.
Fr. Jacob Bona D’Souza
